What is carbon fiber strip?

The pultrusion process stands as one of the primary methods for manufacturing carbon fiber products, as illustrated in the accompanying photograph. In this process, raw carbon fiber yarns are first passed through a specialized resin bath, transitioning from a dry state to a wet state. This impregnation ensures that the fibers are thoroughly coated with resin, enhancing their bonding and mechanical properties.

Subsequently, the wet carbon fiber yarns are guided through a heated die, a specialized tool designed to shape and cure the composite material. As the yarns traverse the die under elevated temperatures, the resin begins to polymerize and harden. Once the composite exits the die and cools, the resin fully solidifies, creating a continuous, high – strength carbon fiber product. Finally, the elongated piece is cut into the desired lengths to meet specific application requirements.
